What makes Amarti unique?

Amarti at the Heritage Listed Cowwar Buttery Factory was originally built in 1896. It was then redesign in 1917 into a Arts and Crafts style of architecture by Charles I Rice. The Cowwarr Butter Factory manufactured cheese, butter and milk power until 1959 where it then ceased operation and closed for 2 decades. In 1980 Geoff Hines purchased the property and took on the challenge of restoring and renovating the building into a family home and Art Gallery. In 1992 Carolyn Crossley purchased the Butter Factory and continued on the Art Gallery for almost 30 years. In March 2020 the Cowwarr Butter Factory changed ownership to the current owners and underwent extensive renovations for over 2 years to turn the factory into the Amarti Wedding and Events Venue with a Restaurant.
You can visit Amarti on Friday's through to Monday from 10:30am.
